Daddy Berger in Hamburg

You see him posting comments left and right, but who is this “Daddy Berger” you may ask. Well you can be glad to know that I was able to snap a picture of us as we explored Hamburg together this weekend (seen above).

Today we played tourists in Hamburg, exploring the whole town. He claims that we walked over 10 miles, I think it was closer to 5 … but who’s counting (besides his aching feet). We walked through the Platen un Blomen (the large park in Hamburg), specifically checking out the rose garden and Japanese garden. Then we traveled downtown to the St. Nikili Church, where we took a elevator to the top. Next up were the botanical gardens. Finally, we had some lunch, relaxing, and dinner.

Tomorrow’s plans are still TBD, but I’ll try to get a better picture (the park isn’t the best back drop for the Berger boys).

  2. Whether it was 5 or 10 miles - we walked for exactly 4 hours… With Adam always a half pace ahead of me… I felt like Rainman!

Today we watched the rain and talked about WEB 2.0 stuff - you know - the kids who can’t spell with vowels. I pretended to be cool and interested.
